A mixed group that sees teams compete from all corners of the globe!

As the highest ranking football team in the group, and with South American countries having already claimed nine of the twenty past World Cup titles, Uruguay has to be the favourites.

However, Russia won’t be beaten easily. After hearing that they would host the 21st FIFA World Cup back in 2010, Russia has been preparing for eight long years to stage and compete in the tournament. The pressure is on for them to make the most of their group matches which will see the Russian team face competition from Asia, South America and Africa. 

Clinching overall victory would make Russia the seventh team to claim World Cup victory on home ground. First, they must face Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Uruguay!
