Take a look at the steps we take when preparing each and every vehicle for the Motor Range forecourt: 

• Our expert buyers travel the country to find the best quality cars with the all of the features that we know our customers want.

 

• We make sure that each car we buy for Motor Range has had a HPI check. That’s a full history check - number of owners, plate changes and confirmation of the VIN/chassis number. This gives you complete peace of mind so you can be sure the car is the real deal with no outstanding finance and no chance of it being stolen or previously written off. 

 

• All history checks complete, the car is delivered to Motor Range’s Dunnings Bridge Road site. We have around 200 new cars arriving by transporter every week - plenty of additional stock to keep our forecourt refreshed. 

 

• Then we’ll inspect every car history again - you can’t be too careful - and check that everything’s working properly.

 

• All vehicle documents - the V5, manuals, service books, spare keys and SD cards for the car - are sent to Motor Range’s vehicle administration team for logging and safekeeping.

 

 

• Then our highly qualified technicians take over for a full 120-point inspection in Motor Range’s state-of-the-art, on-site service department. The brakes, tyres, engine, exhaust system and windscreen will all get the once-over.

 

• And if the car needs a service and/or MOT, we’ll do that too.

 

• One of our technicians will then take the car out for a road test to make sure it drives perfectly. 

 

• Next stop is the vehicle detailing bay. We want every Motor Range car to dazzle on the forecourt so they’ll get all the TLC they need to give them that showroom shine! After a valet, inside and out, using industry-leading, high quality cleaning products the car looks as good as new. 

 

• Time for a 360 degree photo shoot on our top-of-the-range turntable to get images of the car, both inside and out. Customers can get to see the new additions to our stock online as soon as they are ready through our new Smart Search feature. It’s the next best thing to seeing the car in the flesh!

 

• Ready to go! Even as the car is being put on display we’ll carry out final checks to make sure that it’s in perfect condition and everything is working properly - ready and waiting for you to come and inspect it!
